Toyota Harrier Overview

The Toyota Harrier comes with a sleek, elegant exterior and an innovative, refined interior. It is a five-passenger compact, later mid-size crossover SUV with the new hybrid variant delivering greater fuel efficiency and economy and the exceptional Toyota Safety Sense offered as standard. Although the previous version of the Harrier is not Hybrid.

Toyota is the top dominating brand among the available car brands in Bangladesh. They hold a massive 80% of the car market share in Bangladesh. Here you won’t find a brand new version of the Harrier. But a reconditioned one from the JDM market could be available.

Looks and Design: The Harrier is big and comfortable. The front view emphasizes its sharp and fearless styling through the continuity of lines flowing from the front upper grill through to the headlamps. The light from a thin, sharp line of tail lamps and stop lamps gives it an overwhelming sense of presence. It may sit on the same compact Sport Utility Vehicle platform as the Toyota RAV4 but it certainly looks big. The interior is also has a premium feel to it and features enough space for a comfy ride. The interior employs tactile synthetic leather and bentwood-inspired wood tones and piping throughout, presenting a casual air of quality.

Engine Performance: The Harrier comes with a powerful 16-Valve DOHC; VVT-iE(Intake) & VVT-i (Exhaust) 1,987cc engine which is capable of producing 203 nm torque at 4,400-4,900 rpm. With a well-balanced body and engine power, the Harrier can reach up to 180 Kmph. The Brand new Harrier is upgraded to the hybrid system. In hybrid power mode, both engine and hybrid battery gives power to the vehicle. But In Bangladesh, it will take some time to get hands-on the hybrid version as new model or brand new model of the car is not available here. This vehicle can ensure a comfortable and smooth ride on any type of road.

Fuel Consumption: The Average fuel consumption of Harrier is approximately 21 mpg. It offers a fuel tank capacity of 72 Liter. If you want to achieve high fuel efficiency you will have to drive the vehicle below 60km/h on normal roads without continued hard acceleration. That is the process of getting high fuel efficiency.

Safety and Other Features:  The Harrier is equipped with safety equipment for safety and peace of mind, such as Intelligent Clearance Sonar with Parking Support Brakes. The Toyota Safety Sense is also there which will employ a pre-collision safety system that detects pedestrians during the day and at night, as well as cyclists during the day.

But you can always get a reconditioned car with an approximate price of around 47-80 lacs depending on the selling model and year.
